Why Participate
During the establishment of the stakeholder groups and survey groups, if a diverse cross-section of professionals, program/resource providers and caregivers/families are not involved, the end results of the project will not be all-encompassing or balanced.
Each neuro-developmentally disabled child is unique and each program and service for a child is often designed to meet individual needs for optimum growth and development. The experience, expertise and perspectives as well as issues and concerns of all involved are essential in the environmental scan and assessment process.
If you have any question about whether or not you, or someone you know should participate please call our office (250.390.8143) and speak with our project staff.
